Counter Strike: Source is one of the first and best FPS games i have buyed with steam.

 Anyway, suffice it to say Counter-Strike is well-known and much beloved. The game is about terrorists vs. counter-terrorists in a variety of online multiplayer maps. Terrorists are out to plant bombs and detain prisoners. Counter-terrorists must stop them and rescue those hostages. And all the while, the two teams will be killing each other in the streets.

The game looks more beautiful than ever, with structures that feel weighty and solid and little visual touches throughout. The flash-bangs look fantastic. First, there's a blurry distortion as the screen melts into two blurred out of focus shots that slowly blend back together. The ringing and blindness! Rag doll physics now govern the death animations, so watch for keen and gruesome deaths. Great stuff.

Counter Strike, continues to maintain its sharp learning curve. You either know the flow of the game or you'll look confused and awkward to everyone else. A novice will probably be verbally hazed. It's nigh-impossible to avoid and makes me wish that noobs could have some kind of single-player training.

 This is an overall great game. Solid in form runs great having the Source engine. graphics are still nice by my standards today. Surprisingly when you buy a mature game you expect mature players and telling you now this is not the case in many servers you play on counter-strike has always featured a wide array of mods throughout its history but because of games like "Surf" where a player rides a rail along a path in the sky the game can almost all but lose the aspect of a "First person Shooter" and will almost entirely become a benign kids game. In fact ive been to many a few game servers featuring mods such as "zombie mod", "Surf" (as mentioned earlier) and even copies of other games such as World of Warcraft, Even downhill skiing and musical chairs aren't out of the question (thats right MUSICAL CHAIRS) going to a zombie mod server Ive noticed that many of the players are at least under the age of 15.

AT ALL I GIVE THIS GAME A RATING OF 9/10 +The graphic is much better than the first CS game with the source engine. -Its no recoil and some weapons are a little overpowered.
